How can I create a Combat Arms account without a flag?

J
Answer by Julia Bocchetta

You can't create an account without a flag. The system automatically detects the IP address and the country where that IP address comes from and automatically assigns the country flag that you're talking about. If you want a certain country flag, use Google Search to find a proxy server that you can use to connect through to register for an account. Based on the country of the IP address you'll use, the system will give you a flag.

You can uninstall the game with the Combat Arms uninstaller from the installation folder. Also you can use Add or Remove Programs feature:
If you use Windows XP or bellow you can go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. In the Currently installed programs box, click on the Combat Arms and then click Remove.
If you have Windows Vista or above you need to go to Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Select the Combat Arms and click on Uninstall.

When I go to the website, it says that there is an error with the main character. When I load it, I'm receiving "Error: You have lost connection with the server please try again in a moment" message. What can I do?

Make sure that your antivirus program and Windows Firewall allows Combat Arms connection. Also try open the Windows ports. First, go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allow a program through Windows Firewall and check the box next to Combat Arms. If you can't find the game in the Allowed programs and features window, press the Allow another program button, navigate to the installation directory, select the executable file and press Add. After that, from the Advanced Settings select Inbound Rules > New Rule. Check the Port box, click Next, select All local Ports and follow the self-explained steps. If it doesn't help, download and install a new copy of the client from the official web page. Also, it's possible that the servers to be temporarily down or under maintenance.

This error is caused by the proxy settings configured in your computer. To fix this, go to Start menu > Control Panel > Internet Options. Select Combat Arms tab and press on LAN Settings. If there is something configured, remove it and don't use proxies. Close the windows, restart Combat Arms client and it should work normally.

If you use a proxy to connect to the Internet, then this is the cause for the game to not work properly.

To resolve this issue you need to copy and paste the below code in a new Notepad file. Enter patch.reg in the file name box and save it as All Files type. Open the saved file and click Yes. Reboot your computer and start Combat Arms.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000] "~Engine.exe"=dword:00000001

In order to fix the issue, try rebooting your PC and running the game using Administrator rights. If it doesn't help, go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allow a program through Windows Firewall and check the box next to Combat Arms. If you can't find the game in the "Allowed programs and features" window, press the "Allow another program" button, navigate to the installation directory, select the executable file and press Add. After that, from the Advanced Settings select Inbound Rules > New Rule. Check the Port box, click Next, select All local Ports and follow the self-explained steps. Also, make sure that your security program doesn't block the connection. If it still doesn't work, uninstall the game, download and install the upgraded version of the client. This should fix it.
